Hey guys, it’s been awhile since our last update, it’s been very busy in the office and we have a lot to show you. From now on we will try to keep you updated each week with a blog post and email. You can sign up for our email updates here
So the biggest news we have was our attendance to this year’s EGX Birmingham. It was a fantastic experience where we got to meet a lot of you in person. We were humbled by the amount of people who had previously heard of us and our game. We got to see our latest demo be played and enjoyed and made some great connections with fellow games developers. We hope we can attend another EGX soon!
Our first exciting update is our recent upgrade to Photogrammetry, Guy has been working hard creating more photorealistic models for our game, here are some previews of what he’s made so far.
Dave has been working hard on some of the mechanics we’re developing for Relapse including the flashback system that allows the player to experience Arcadia Asylum before it was closed down. Here’s a sneak peak.
James and I recently presented at the SIGN conference at Solent University where we talked about our experiences and the challenges we have faced in the indie games industry. We were joined by some amazing indie game veterans including our friends from Rebourne Studios.
So what are we doing now? We’re currently finishing off the first main level of Relapse, we will be sending this out to the testers soon. We’ve also been polishing up the game, as well as the inventory and crafting system, thanks to your feedback and criticism, here’s a before and after image.
We also hope to start releasing more assets for the Unreal Marketplace. We have a few already in development so keep an eye out for those and make sure you visit the Marketplace on Monday for some amazing discounts on some of our already existing assets!
Thanks for reading and see you in next week’s blog!
